Cuban Circus Performers a Hit at Monte-Carlo

HAVANA TIMES — A duo of Cuban circus performers thrilled the audience at the opening ceremony of the 37th edition of the International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo, based in the principality of Monaco, reported the Prensa Latina.

According to a note from the National Circus of Cuba, the young artists Leosvel and Diosmani thoroughly pleased the demanding audience, which gave them a standing ovation and had them reappear in the ring four times.

Also attending the event was the duo “Fuerza Capilar,” made up of Daramis Suset Puron and Daylis Blanco, one of the most representative circus acts in the history of the island. It consists of one of the artist hanging from the rings by her hair.

The Cubans displayed their talent in front of famous artists from more than 12 nations.
