A Visit to La Boca, Trinidad, Cuba

HAVANA TIMES — Five kilometers from Trinidad, in the province of Sancti Spiritus, is La Boca, a coastal town of people who live from fishing, farming and forms of self-employment.

Known as a place for vacationing, the town has a permanent population of under 400 but grows considerably in certain periods of the year, especially to serve national workers’ tourism at several state-run facilities.

July and August are the busiest months.
