HAVANA TIMES – The typical summer conditions in the capital will continue, with partly cloudy skies and some showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The winds will be from the east, with speeds between 10 and 20 km/h.

The days will be hot, with maximum temperatures between 32 and 33° C (90 and 91 F), with the lows ranging around 25° C (77 F). The sea surface temperature will be 29° C (84 F).

Meteorological conditions

The anticyclonic ridge associated with the subtropical high-pressure system of the Atlantic extends westward to a large part of the Gulf of Mexico, therefore, good weather conditions will be maintained on the island. The persistence of these meteorological conditions is expected until the beginning of the following week.

For the North Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico there is a very low probability of tropical cyclone formation during the next 5 days.
