HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 8 – The group Vocal LT, formed in 1997, has its own unique style with which it interprets jazz, Cuban, cumbia, pop and classical music.

In its first years, under the guidance of manager Carlos Díaz Laportilla, the group was exclusively vocal, imitating the sounds musical instruments with their voices.  It was an impressive to hear the notes of trumpets, trombones, percussion of all type, the bass, tres, and others.

Now, since 2001, the format has changed.  The group mixes the imitation of instruments with the sonority of a bass and guitar arrangement.  The three members of the group invite us to come every Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. to the Fresa y Chocolate Cultural Center, located on 23rd and 12th streets, one of the most focal corners in the Vedado district.
