HAVANA TIMES – This week, good weather conditions will prevail, with cloudy skies and isolated showers in the afternoons. The winds will be weak and from the east with speeds between 6 and 12 mph.

The humidity will remain low during the coming days, and the high temperatures will be between 29 and 31° C (84 and 88 F). In the early morning the lows will range between 19 and 20° C (66 and 68 F). The sea surface temperature will be 27° C (81 F).

Meteorological conditions:

A 1019 mb high pressure area is centered over the northeastern Gulf of Mexico, generating moderate southeast winds over much of western Cuba. Dry air conditions and subsidence associated with this system are dominating over this area, so there is no convection. Little variation is expected in these conditions over the next 48 to 72 hours when a very weak front is approaching the north-west coast of the island.
