I Love Prague!

HAVANA TIMES — There are no words to describe such a clean city, which makes you relive hundreds of emotions as you walk through it.

In spite of not having much time to get to know it very well, I got to walk along the Charles Bridge, take in the Vltava River, touch its frozen waters with my hands and, for the first time in my life, feel free.

The people there make the city much more beautiful, they all smile at you, it doesn’t matter what you look like, they respect you and they don’t laugh at you.

I tested this when we walked along the Charles Bridge and I did one of my performances in the name of the LGTBI community in Cuba, along with the rest of my group who approved of my wish to give an offering to the patron saint of Cuba, Ochun, creating a mystical atmosphere there, along with producer Yaima Pardo La Red and her husband Yenier Martinez Carrillo, as well as three musicians from Santiago, led by our excellent teacher Jurgis Didziulis who masterfully showed us his expertise, to help us become better human beings and professionals too.

I’m already back in Cuba, I’ve been tired for quite some time now, I slept very little while in Prague, the course was very hard work, I still haven’t recovered, but I can’t not write this post. I guess I’ll write others where I’ll talk a little more about my experiences there and the surprises a capitalist country had in store for me.

The saddest thing of all though, was leaving behind some people who, in the 10 days I was there, waltzed into my life as beings of light and harmony.
