HAVANA TIMES.- Some of you readers have been to Cuba and many took photographs during your stay. Others of you may have enjoyed looking at photographs a friend took while in Cuba. Havana Times would like to honor your efforts as part of our inaugural photo contest.

Send us up to five of your favorite photographs taken in Cuba. They should be in a format with less than 100KB each, since the dial-up connection in Cuba is quite slow. A caption or title can accompany them.

A Havana Times jury will vote for the “best photo”. In sending us your photos, you would be giving Havana Times the right to use them in our online publication with your by-line.

The First Place photo will win US $100 and runner-up $50. The deadline for submitting photos is January 31, 2009. We will announce the winners by the end of February, 2009. To submit photographs or for more information write: circlesrobinson@gmail.com
