HT Cuba Photo Contest First Round Survivors

HAVANA TIMES — For the 5th HT Cuba Photo Contest we received a total of 538 pictures from 90 participants competing in the five categories: Dance, Gardens, Lines, Rain and Transportation.

The jury, comprised of 20 persons living in 10 countries, is now in session.

During the first round of selection we asked the jurors to pick a maximum of 40 photos in each category.

After tabulation, the cutoff point was at seven votes.

To make it to the second round at least seven of the jurors had to have picked the given photograph.

In the second round, the jury is currently selecting their favorite 10 pictures in each category.

Surviving the first cut were: Dance (41) Gardens (35) Lines (41) Rain (36) and Transportation (36).
