HAVANA TIMES, May 22 — Heavy rains in the eastern Cuban provinces of Santiago de Cuba and Guantanamo have led to landslides and the collapse of homes, forcing families to evacuate in the affected areas. The Cuban Meteorological Institute said the rains will continue on Friday, reported IPS.

Guantanamo is the hardest hit province with 12 consecutive days with rain and nearly 300 homes reported damaged.
