HAVANA TIMES — The 34 edition of the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema has extended its borders and now includes an exhibition of Latin American art in the Pavilion Cuba program.

Some of the most representative figures of Latin American visual arts lead us on a journey through the evolution of art, from conventional demonstrations to installations and videos. The works being presented are from the Wifredo Lam Center for Contemporary Art, which has selected them from its permanent collection.

These approach several themes through different media and constitute an entire universe of aesthetic discourse that gives us a broad view of the continent: its landscapes, cities and peoples, as well as the political, cultural and social development of our people through the eyes of various artists.
