What I Saw in the Plaza

Photo Feature by Elio Delgado

HAVANA TIMES, April 17 — The military parade that took place on Saturday morning brought out a sizeable crowd to the Plaza of the Revolution in Havana.

President Raul Castro headed up the march that also kicked off the 6th Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba (April 16-19) to address economic issues.

Elio Delgado was one of the three HT contributing photographers on hand to capture the event.  Here we present his bird’s eye view.

  • A very impressive array of equipment. Many of them appear to be amphibious. I wish I had been there in Person to experience it and get some photographs.
I hope the party Congress goes well and a beneficial direction for Cuba is undertaken.
