HAVANA TIMES – Expect warm days in Havana during the coming forecast period, partly cloudy from the end of the morning, with increased cloudiness in the afternoons. Some rain and isolated and scattered electrical storms are likely.

The winds will be from the southeast in the mornings while in the afternoons they will be from the northeast, with speeds between 6 and 12 mph.

The high temperatures will be between 32 and 33° C (90 and 91 F), while the lows will average around 24° C (75 F). The sea surface temperature will be 29° C (84 F).

Meteorological conditions:

The high pressure of the Azores-Bermuda extends its dorsal to the west, influencing the west of Cuba and adjacent seas, producing weak winds from the east and the southeast. A surface trough located south of the Florida Peninsula associated with a divergent flow in the heights, will be causing rains and isolated storms in the afternoons on the Florida Straits, reaching the northwestern region of the island.

In the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico tropical cyclone formation is not expected over the next 5 days.
