HAVANA TIMES – The new modern port terminal of the “Lanchita de Regla” (Regla boat), which crosses Havana Bay to the towns of Regla and Casablanca respectively, has been built close to the place where the old terminal was for many years.

The modern building equipped with large glass windows and steel beams, gives from its interior a view in all directions, half towards the city, half towards the bay.

The facility has two floors and includes services in regular Cuban pesos. Upstairs is a cafeteria with modest prices for the national visitor. Downstairs is a variety store, waiting room and the controlled entry to the boats.

It is a terminal that makes a big difference in an aging city.
