  • 4 ounces of coffee? Where do thet get it? In our town we did not get any coffee for five months. This despite the State Television news extolling the coffee harvest and as usual increased production. There was coffee for sale however where tourists visit. The shop that is kitty corner to the Iberostar Hotel in Trinidad, the shop at Jose Marti International airport, the “supermarket” in Old Havana and naturally, at Varadero.
The generosity of the Castro family regime in allowing Havana residents the above listed food rations is extraordinary. They give us also this day our daily bread if we wait only 40 minutes at the Empresa clutching our 5 pesos.
    Viva Fidel!
    Viva Raul!
    Viva los Castros!
    Que controla todo y todos!
    Gracia para la generosidad!
