Protein Rations for Havana August 11-17

HAVANA TIMES – We present the list of rationed protein products that Havana residents can purchase with their ration booklets in their neighborhood bodega stores during the week from 11 to 17 August. The portions are distributed by month on a rotation basis in 15 municipalities of the capital.

CHICKEN (1 lb per consumer 14 years or over and medical diets): Complete distribution in Playa and distribute in La Lisa and Diez de Octubre.

FLAVORED HASH (½ pound per consumer): Complete distribution in Marianao and distribute in Cotorro and Habana del Este.

MORTADELLA (½ pound per consumer): Complete distribution in Cerro and distribute in Plaza.

CHICKEN FOR GROUND BEEF (1 lb for children under 14 years): Distribute in Playa and La Lisa.

EGGS (5 per consumer and medical allowances): Conclude in Habana del Este, Guanabacoa, and Diez de Octubre; Distribute in Playa, Marianao and Arroyo Naranjo.

CHICKEN for FISH (11 ounces per consumer): Complete distribution in La Lisa; Distribute in Playa and Boyeros.

FISH (6 pounds for medical diets and special diets for children up to 8 years): Complete distribution in Diez de Octubre, Habana del Este, Centro Habana, Habana Vieja and San Miguel del Padrón; Distribute in Regla, Cotorro, Guanabacoa, Marianao and Arroyo Naranjo.

During August habaneros also receive at highly subsidized prices a quota of 7 pounds of rice, 10 ounces of grains (beans or peas), 3 pounds of white sugar and 1 pound of brown sugar, ½ pound of oil, 4 ounces of coffee (for over 7 years), and salt by household.
